Was rightly criticised before Xmas, he wasn't very good. Probably been our best player in 2021. Added a few goals and his set pieces have dramatically improved. Well in Judgey

He wasn't ripping up any trees, which was what everyone thought he'd do in league one, but who was? He was still contributing most weeks to anything positive we did, which admittedly wasn't a lot.

Some of the stick he got wasn't warranted.

He's been one of our best players since the turn of the year for sure — it's right to acknowledge that, whatever went on before.

Did you see the way we used to play with possession at the back and no transition through the lines or possession up top? How was that going to suit Judge?

He has has a lot going on but personally I think he has performed pretty well all season in much changed teams but is really making things tick now, gives total commitment.

100%. It felt like we would feebly lose 1-0 most weeks with a team of 5.5/10 performances but he was the only one called out on here week after week. He was played out of position hugging the touchline in his defence, and while the quality on the ball was often lacking we really were such a lacklustre side and so poorly set up. He was at least trying to make things happen more often than not and his workrate was always there which can’t be said for all.

He was dealing with a bit going on outside of football as we all were, but he’s shown real b0llocks since the turn of the year. He’s very good without the ball, forces so many turnovers. He’s no world beater but he’s good at this level. It’s all very well having flashes from Dobra and Bennetts etc but I really do think we’ll get out of this division with a few experienced and street wise heads a la Norwood & Judge. It’s a shame Jackson has fallen out of favour I think because he’s another one, and for all the will in the world taking off Norwood for the likes of Drinan just isn’t going to cut it.

Well all I’m saying was he was criticised, I agree he shouldn’t have been singled out. He wasn’t very good, but you’re right, who was.

But I think his improvement has been the most stark.

Drinan is awful. I mean he clearly tries and gets about but he just isn’t cut out for this level.

It wasn’t but you can’t doubt he was very poor and he did get criticised. All I’m saying is that he has improved and I’m happy to see it

Oh you're absolutely right.

Crucially he's scoring a few goals which helps.
