Especially when our manager was playing Mcgoldrick (when fit) on the wing. Nothing to see from GB here - in an ideal world, we would have retained McGoldrick, Webster & Waghorn, got in the right replacement for MM & now be in the Premier League. |  |

We've all given the club a bit of a pillaring for numerous wrong turns over the last few years, but it's fairly safe to say that not offering Mcgoldrick a new contract was met with very little resistance at the time.
He was one of our highest earners and was playing every 1 in 3 games. It would have been a pretty bizarre business decision to offer him a new deal given the circumstances. |  | | |
