What's in your biscuit tin today? 13:09 - Mar 22 with 1769 views | wkj | Time for a teabreak and I have to go to the co-op. As I am one of the TWTD sheep, I need to get someone else to tell me what kind of biscuit sums up today. Choco Leibniz is my thought...

I think you're right... I might make a Battenberg sarnie. 2 fig rolls and the devil's turd in the middle.

Booo! The fig roll is a much maligned thing. Not sure if it's a biscuit, but whatever it is, it's lovely.

Good luck finding that in a small village co-op. A block of burger cheese slices is about as luxurious as it gets here.

I'm not a big fan of the figgy filling. Think it could easily be improved by scooping out the figgy bit an replacing it with Nutella. How do you rate the mikado?

I'm with the London theatre guide who described it as, "A masterpiece of whimsy, satire, silliness and jollity."

It was decided, for tax purposes, that Jaffa Cakes are cakes, not biscuits. They concluded that, when stale, biscuits tend to snap rather than bend.

I consider it a masterpiece of pink marshmallow and raspberry jam topped with coconut on a crumbly biscuit base

The Co-op do a very affordable and Palm oil free pack of all butter shortbread fingers if you are looking for value (but avoid the boxed ones - not orang utan friendly).

Jaffa cakes would be less disappointing if they were called Jaffa biscuits.

Other way round wasnt it, biscuits go soft when stale, cakes go hard.
