for me
1) centre-back:- i like both wolf & toto, but not as a pair, both need an organiser alongside them
2) keeper- even if holy stays, we need a 2nd, would be fine with him as a back-up
3) left-back- i guess kvy or donacien could play there and we still have kenny, but definitely need an upgrade
4) attacking midfielder- dobs moving up is welcome, but it's a key role in cook's formation, so definitely need one there
not saying we don't need anything else, cook wouldn't say no to an extra centre-forward, but thesse are the vital ones...

I want Siegrist in the sticks as number 1, then I’d take a youngster who’s been released by a premier league club who we can develop as our number 2.
Need a big commanding centre half, someone like Dunkley, really want Ndaba to be given a chance this pre season.

With that in mind, this would be my order of priority...
1) LB: Ndaba looks the weakest part of the first team.
2) FC: Thought this was sorted, but wrong. So this is a priority. Guess this is why we are still chasing Crooks*
3) CB: Need a "marquee" signing here.
4) GK: We've said Holy isn't good enough, so we need to bring in someone who is Championship standard, to really build a strong platform in this division.
5) FL: I think Dobra would do really well with better professionals around him, so not too concerned here. But I expect this position to be filled sooner rather than later
6) CB: Expecting another starter to come in here, who is better than Woolf and Nsiala

I think only reason both El-Miz and Donacien are in 1st team training is that Cook hasn’t seen either of them play or train yet. Once he realises Donacien can’t get past the 1/2 way line he’ll be bombed out he’s way short of being a RB in a Cook system. | | | |

In Cooks preferred 4-2-3-1 formation he could fill in there as a backup option. He wouldn’t start for me hence the ‘?’ Ahead of him.
He’s definitely not an option for one of the 2 CM slots IMO.

The first pre-season friendly is on 10th July, and by then I think we need 22 first team players. We currently have 14. I think these are the new signings we need to make:
Goalkeeper x 1 (I think Holy is good enough to stay as one of our 'keepers, but Cook may choose to sign Hladky and Siegrist and release Holy).
Left-Back x 1 + Kenlock promoted (Penney could be that man - the first choice left-back, but Kenlock is good enough to stay as backup)
Centre-Back x 1 (don't know who this could be, but we need one more, and another if Woolfenden or Nsiala leaves)
Centre-Defensive-Midfielder x 1 (ideally, this would be a promotion for Flynn Downes. McGavin is also a possibility)
Centre-Attacking-Midfielder x 2 (Crooks could be one of these)
Wingers x 2 (ideally, one would be a left-sided specialist, the other could play on both sides)
And, preferably, either one of the wingers or one of the CAMs would be able to play as a striker. |  |
