Waterfalls and Whiskey Camping Tour. 07:22 - Jul 27 with 711 views | wkj | Seems my car is delayed in the plant I have to revise my first social trip in 6 years. 10 Nights, 10 Stunning Walks, 2 Ferry Rides, and a visit to Nick Offerman's retreat in Islay. Should only be 4 nights in a tent as I know a number of people who will put me up for a night on the way. Me mate, Cleaner, is not best please about going to Barnsley (Twice) - but he's just going to have to make do.

Think Bushmills and Tullamore might have something to say about whiskey being called an American style...

Yes, and Penderyn is Whisky. And so is Suntory. And so is Mackmyra. And so is JP Wiser's. And so is St George's. So, I should have said "Scottish, Welsh, Japanese, Swedish, Canadian and English distilleries make Whisky. American and Irish distilleries make Whiskey." And there are others. But, the point is, the thread title refers to a Scottish distillery tour.

Ahem Irish and, some, American distilleries produce whiskey... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whisky#Names_and_spellings Actually the usage of uisge isn't really that clear.

Well, the correct term I shall be using is a Dram, but this is a hot debate for sure - I have seen both used in and around my home area (Dundee). Needless to say, the correct term I should have used is Scotch, but I was looking for cheap and nasty alliteration.
