Why didn't the keeper user his left foot to control the ball, it was a simple back pass and he made it much more difficult by trying to use the outside of his right foot rather than his left foot. Schoolboy error that should not happen at International level. |  | | |

Agreed - he had enough space to turn and look for a forward pass, having just dispossessed the Czechs you'd think there could have been a possibility of a break.
Midfielders playing easy, low risk balls back to centre-backs / goalkeepers when they could turn and play it forwards is really poor - someone like Modric / Xavi would turn to face forwards there. |  | | |

I think the Central Defender is in line with him and Ramsey and so he can't see Ramsey dispossess the attacker and shape to pass it back. So he sees it late and is off balance with his weight on his left foot as he moves across. |  | | |
