I think he and Morsy need each other to have a solid game, when 1 drops it effects the others style massively.

Yes, his best game tonight all things considered.

Good to have Morsy alongside him and mopping up. Plus I think Aluko and Chaplin have been much better at keeping the ball and the pressure high up the pitch. That’s what Bonne has always done too but the race is now on for the third player in the three behind. I’d probably still go for Fraser given he also drops back and can hurt teams but Edwards, Burns, Pigott, Barry and Harper need to pull out all the stops to challenge for a place at present.
