I have to disagree.
Paul Simon is a genius, one of the best songwriters ever, and often underrated.
All of his work up to an including Graceland would be up with the finest ever canons of popular music.
However, my opinion, the very finest songs include many with Art Garfunkel, including:
For Emily Whenever I may Find Her
Kathy's Song
America
Sound of Silence
Bridge over Troubled Water
Mrs Robinson
