His description of the Nottingham booking was a peach. "He's heard air hissing out of the ball and so he's took [sic] a step back, their players run onto the ball and so he's had to take him out because the ref hasn't stopped the game"
I used to have a lot of respect for Accrington. Now I wonder if the whole club has lost the plot. Maybe worried they won’t get their annual payment from us this summer.
Saying that a slight alarm bell is ringing in that we have had three games in a row where we have looked less than impressive despite picking up six out of nine. I’d love a Sunderland/Wycombe/Gillingham performance today just to put my mind at rest that we’re falling back into our usual ways.

If we're winning when not playing well, then that is a 1000% improvement on the last five years and I will take that all day long.

To me, it’s akin to Lambert’s fast starts which, in both seasons, eventually got found out. Of course this run could turn out very differently and a decent performance today with a win would ease my concerns.

New manager bounce? Maybe. But I don’t think it bears much relation to Lamberts fast starts.
With those, the other teams at the start of the season weren’t up to speed on fitness or organisation. We also had a fair slice of luck.
KM has turned up in the meat of the season where that is not the case. It’s notable that at this stage last season we were losing a lot, especially at home (6 of 8), and certainly were not competitive with the better teams.
Fingers crossed today. With the midfield short, I fear a bit of a struggle but I’m wrong more often than right when it comes to predictions.

Yes John, booked because the ball burst.
Did the ball get changed after that? EDIT: Have re-watched it and see it was.
Like their player who was taken to hospital after Morsy's assault on him?
I do hope every single incident involving Accrington's players cheating today (they will be because it is their "style") gets reported to the FA.

The ball was changed after that but if it was in such a state you wouldn’t have thought our player would have been able to get away from Nottingham.
I actually just found the incident and watched it back. Very interesting. Nottingham does stop playing as Coleman suggests but he then fouls Morsy. The booking only comes well after the foul and after Morsy has had an extended chat to the ref.
Having watched it, I can understand them being a bit annoyed with the booking.
