I think Hearts went close one year around then. Think it was in their hands on the last day too but they did a bit of an us v Boro in 81.

I think it’s only 7 teams are that have won it since 92-93
Blackburn bought it , Leicester won it as others had massive off seasons (slightly unfair ) and the others just monopolise it too don’t they
Citeh,Chelsea , Liverpool- not even going to mention United
