Wycombe - WIN - hard fought win, some great expansive play, disjointed attack at times
Gillingham - WIN superb display, players playing with freedom and excellent passing, woeful opponent
Bolton - LOSS - very ineffective, error strewn, second best
Accrington - WIN - hard fought but questionable performance
Wimbledon - WIN - unconvincing, second best at times, low player performance again
Sheff Weds - LOSS - toothless, midfield mired, errors, well beaten
Gillingham - WIN - low player performance, lack of energy and endeavour

Doncaster - can we get a frickin performance please??

Surely a good performance will build confidence in the players and fans ahead of Saturday?

Prove some partnerships are working which McKenna can adopt, settle the system and style of play

Just generally lift the team... play like we did on Saturday and MK will win easily

Also will sell the remaining 300 tickets

Winning matches breeds more confidence over playing well and drawing/ losing though.

Apart from anything else - if we aspirations for a play-off spot, we need to win any way we can.

Are you sure about the Wimbledon performance?

We controlled the flow of that game excluding around 15 sloppy minutes. We were missing both key central midfielders, scored 2 good goals and kept a clean sheet - it was a good away performance.

If you get a flashing red alert from Phil, I don't think that necessarily mean you've pulled.

He’s got good results mainly due to the defensive rejig, which has made us more solid.

The same issues remain with our stuttering attack as they have done all season, where we can play really well one game then look clueless the next, and we’re relying on a player to do something special.

But I think we’re in a good place. McKenna’s got a defensive platform (and keeper) to build from. And it’s been a few years since we could say that.

Knowing that we still haven’t really got as much as we could out of our attacking play should give us confidence that we can push on.
