Problem for me is that Stat (and Cruncher on a similar note) have come across so irritating and arrogant in recent years that any good things like this that one of them does is too late for me as they’ve already lost a potential viewer with the earlier nonsense. And I’d bet I’m not alone |  |

Each to their own, but I would advise giving it a listen and seeing from there - if you don't like Cruncher then you probably won't like TT as it is about him outting his opinions across, but Stat is excellent at the interviews, in letting his guests talk etc and really facilitates it well.

Tbf to Stat my dislike is probably abit unfair as it’s based on one incident about 4 years ago. He just came across like a complete pleb on twitter and even despite numerous people explaining he was wrong, he absolutely would not back down and acting proper arrogant. Never really interacted with him after that in all honesty. | |

They shouldn't even be mentioned in the same manner.
I have never met either of them personally but Stat comes across as a decent guy, asks good questions, listens to his guests, reacts intelligently and seems good at what he does.
Cruncher has this air about him that he is right, regardless of what the guest says to the contrary, constantly talks over his own colleagues and just comes across as incredibly rude. Plus he's constantly on some sort of wind up on Twitter.
