Shame he couldn't actually coach though.

He did.

It very much reminds of a neighbour who bought an M3 and rarely gets above 30 on the roads around here.

Not underwhelming at all

the last thing we need is mass chances again, we need a few additions and I'm happy to trust McKenna knows what he's doing

I’d be happy if we got a recognised goal scoring striker it’s something that cost us points last season and i feel an injury early in the season we are back to last seasons strikers not good .

I think thats what most of us think, but suspect that may not happen until later in the window

He bought some great players to be fair but had no idea how to use them and 4231 was forced week in week out regardless.

By this day last year we'd signed 2 players, Burns and Evans - that's half the number of players we've signed so far this year. Plenty more time to bring more in (but hopefully not 19...)

Yes he (among with Ashton) was responsible for bringing in an amazing squad of players. But you won’t get many around here acknowledging it because he got rid of Chambers and the rest of the dross.

(Cue someone saying “the dross that finished higher in the league” or something. If nothing else, Paul Cook has helped to transform the club for the better).

He had the best backing any town manager has had for over a decade.

Will we? We've signed 2 new strikers for starters. If one gets injured we have another who wasn't here last season.

a niche perspective

It's just a shame his results were a bunch of old toot.

Did he actually buy them in, though?

Bonne amd Celina aind probably others were only on loan. They certainly weren't bought.

Lol. He did bring in some good players, but the reason people turned against him is because he was a sh*te and emotionally unstable manager. Nothing to do with Chambo et al.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?
