According to the EADT we've agreed to pay an initial £600,000 for him with future incentives if he/us do well.

Considering he's only 26 and a proven player in this division that seems like a very good deal for us!

Moreover, Pigot is off the books (with a view to a perm move).

Presumably Pompey aren't paying all his wages during the loan though?

No.

That never happens.

Still unsure where he will fit in this side.

The only Muff in Town.

We play two 10's.

He will most likely play on the right behind Ladapo, with Chaplin (who is left footed) on the left side. Aluko and Celina or another would give us 2/3 options on either side as Chaplin can play on the right, Harness could play on the left.

Then we have Edwards and Humphreys who could play in those roles.

No - but likely to be a decent amount, thus freeing a % up.

I think he's the most interesting signing as can play that inside forward role or wide right. A good addition to the squad IMHO.

Yes, happy with that figure. Think Pompey paid £750k-£800k from Burton for him.

I think his stock has only risen since then, think it's a good piece of business yet again by the club - appreciate had only 12 months on his deal left.

Do we know if there is an option to buy in the Piggott loan? I'm sure I saw it mentioned early on but nothing in the articles since confirmation of the deal.

That’s a crap bit of business by Pompey then. Buy a player for £750k who plays well (some saying he was their best player) and sell him to a rival for a £150k loss.
