Thanks for clarifying. Thought it probably might be. One of the tweeters was actually someone who is meant to be a serious ITFC ‘stats’ person (Dan The Man or something) so thought there could be something in it. Got hopes up as we need a striker.

Exactly. Twitter is the place for breaking news as and before it breaks. Traditional news outlets can only watch and follow. Obvs a lot of noise and false leads along the way. Hence my question.

Of course not every piece of news is reliable on it, but there will be reliable news on there and generally before any other outlet.

I know you're not serious but in fact since the death of their great founder, Sir Thomas Beecham, the RPO really has become a third rank Symphony Orch.

At the moment the LSO is probably the best British orchestra, very closely followed by the CBSO. Brum has been quite a lot in the news recently.
