In fairness Cook kept him in the building and picked him - he was one of our best players last season even before McK came in. He's gone up a couple of gears since though! |  |

The truth is that it wasn’t just KM who rejuvenated JD. it’s been a combined effort between Cook, McGreal, KM, JD and probably Burns to get him to the level he’s at now. He’s grown in confidence and ability. I’d written him off after some terrible displays under Lambert. What an incredible turnaround and example to kids and young pros. [Post edited 19 Aug 2022 11:30]
