Leicester most definitely not.

My guess is that Rodgers is toast after this!

Feels like he has his hands tied behind his back though - gradually selling all their best players and not really replacing with adequate quality.

Edit: Worth noting that Brighton have sold some quality this Summer too, but seem to be thriving.

Absolutely agree but the owners are going to need a scapegoat!

They look all at sea

And agree Rodgers departure must be close.

It’s strange to spend such a huge amount of money on a training facility, but perhaps not fund the team. Albeit Man U are spending close to the cost on one player these days!!

End of the cycle innit. He will be Everton manager by Christmas.

Hard to say who we could be playing in the Championship next season, but Leicester probably one of them.

Leicester, Bournemouth and Aston Villa?

Poll: How long will we be in League One/League Two from next season?

Leicester have only really sold fofana who wanted to go, young cb and schmeichel, they've brought in a new cb so cant see how that is a valid excuse? They've still got a very talented squad and experience

Think Forest will go down with Leicester and Bournemouth. Too mich change yet they don't really have an effective striker at Premier League level.

Poll: Who would you play at right centre back on Saturday?

Tbh, I thought they had sold more than that this summer, but you're right this Summer hasn't been that bad.

I think my general point though is that they have been gradually degrading their team over a few seasons, and the transfers in aren't seeming to be good enough by the look of it.

They look in trouble whatever the cause though.

I heard they are trying to balance the books to make sure they are financially solid whilst improving the infrastructure of the club. Goes to show though, that if you neglect improvement of the playing side it can very quickly bite
