Never been to the Brighton stadium but can't lots of fans only get there by train cos of where it's situated, so probably it's a bit more of a special case to avoid travel chaos at a derby game. |  | | |

Perhaps it's a poorly-worded statement?
I'm reading it that they're expecting a sell-out and that, based on that number of fans attending, the rail strike will cause far more significant levels of disruption than usual.
I'm not necessarily sure he means that the strike would impede their ability to sell-out the stadium. |  |

Also I think match tickets include free local train travel to the ground so possibly another reason to postpone? |  |
