Superhero stuff. | |

Wonder what she's been through in her life. After I was CO poisoned on repeat occasions & was told I was extraordinarily lucky to survive, I developed a really acute sense of smell which I've retained to this day, over 30 years later. CO's odourless of course, but there were a lot of other highly toxic chemicals coming through flue with a 10 foot gap in it into bedroom from faulty back-boiler in house I'd just bought. I assume acquiring the extra-acute sensory perception is a biological self-preservation thing - I was also able to detect any leaking gas anywhere, as I'd get convulsions which would levitate me six inches from bed or chair! In rented accom, I could always tell when housemates had lit the gas cooker in kitchen below my bedroom, despite not knowing anyone was even in there. | |
