I didn't know much about Matt before he moved here tbf. But I had a West Ham mate who told me at the time, that we'd signed a really good player, who'd been through their academy. They had a really strong academy back in the day. The rest is history. Great signing by Burley. |

Feel sorry for Matterface, I don't particularly like him as a commentator on England games but thought for our game he was incredibly well prepared about both teams - gave lots of info, went above and beyond and had clearly researched us a lot and watched us.
But all he gets is stick for mentioning a few times about Bayliss being a Waitrose delivery driver and this error.

Funnily enough, I was working with a Bournemouth fan when we signed him. He said something like "his opponent never gets past him", which I thought summed him up pretty accurately. | | | |
