Unfortunately MK did what we did when we lost 48 goals from the side and replaced it with league 1 and 2 players.

Losing twine.. they pretty much lost most of their goals in 1 summer.

Very tough to lose the quality they did and replace them all adequately.

Obviously they've been woeful this season but he's probably done enough to show that given a decent squad he can get results and play good football.

Wonder if Portsmouth or Peterborough get impatient with Cowley or McCann they'll make a move for him. Probably as high up the table he can go in terms of an opportunity and that might become available in the near future.

Think McAnthony needs to choose if he's staying at Posh or not. Rumours abound they're a mess backstage right now.

Pompey would be bold to take Manning on given that all people will see is a failure at MKDons - will be interesting to see where Liam sees his future too.

Tough to replace….but interesting that Liam did well with what he inherited but has been less successful when he was driving recruitment requirements. As we’ve seen, recruitment is so critical to being successful, even more so at this level.

I think he will be alright and his reputation fairly unscathed. I suspect he will get a 'bigger' club than MK Dons next.

Didnt Macanthony threaten to leave a few years back and then change his mind? For someone who is such a big part of the club, both in his role as chairman and as a media presence, that instability can’t help.

Agreed that Manning wouldn’t go to Posh. Isn’t there a bit of bad blood between the supporters as well?
