A real shame he picked up one for dissent yesterday, as he'd managed 2 games without one. He's gone 4 games without picking up a card a couple of times this season, so hopefully he can manage that again.
Think the second yellow card accumulation suspension is pretty inevitable now and suspect late January would be least worst time to take it... | |

The disappointing ones are when he talks his way into the book (which I think he did yesterday, although the ref was very inconsistent yet again with what was a booking or not even a foul).
In reply to the comment above too, is the 3 matches for 15 cards at any point or only if the 15 is before 37 matches too (I presume it is at any point)? |  |

No, there's 3 cut offs.
5 cards by end of match day 19 = 1-match suspension
10 cards by end of match day 37 = 2-match suspension
15 cards by end of regular season = 3-match suspension
We just completed match day 21 and he has 8. He'll do well to avoid the 15-carder because we aren't even half way through yet. [Post edited 11 Dec 2022 10:18]

He's a great player, but an awful lot of his bookings are just stupid, and you can often see them coming a mile off. More often than not, he gets booked for a challenge on a player who is going nowhere. |  | | |
