I think KVY is a more natural replacement for JD. It seems to fit our most favoured formation and style of play.
Not sure on why Keogh ahead of Fridge. Presumably because Burgess has the left side wrapped up and Keogh a better fit for the centre? | |

He was disciplined earlier in the season for being late to training, when he was dropped out of the squad all together. Can only assume he’s not worked his way back in. | | | |

KVY at right back makes complete sense but I’d definitely pick Edmundson ahead of Keogh in that role. Our playing out of the back today is going to be interesting. | |

We haven't played a centre three since the end of last season.
I think that has affected Burns form as he prefered having more space to run into as a wing back rather than as a winger. [Post edited 17 Dec 2022 14:24]

Think he has played that role previously under McKenna though may have been in (a) cup game/s. We seem to be fluid between a back four and back three so may start with the former today. | |

More of a back 4. KVY right, Keogh and Burgess in the middle and Davis left.
I don’t mind KVY but do worry about him defensively, think Burns will need to help him out today. Especially if Obita gets at him. | |

I thought KVY was excellent on Saturday when he came on to replace JD. Having said that, he didn't face too much of an attacking threat. |  | | |
