Made a holiday friend a year or so back, he has a caravan on the Haven site in fleetwood.
He went to the ticket office yesterday to get a couple of my mates, without tickets, a ticket in the home end.
They refused him as no previous history, even though he essentially proved he lived in fleetwood.

They told him that the club are seriously worried 4/5000 ITFC fans will turn up and rush the gates, and will have perimeter fencing in place, with various tickets check points…

They know we are Ipswich Town don’t they?! Might be a loud tutt or two at not getting a ticket, but rushing the gates 😂😂

They took their online ticket sales down a week or so ago, so that people can only apply by phone or in person and must have purchase history with them.
Although were discussing yesterday that anyTown fan turning up with £50-£100 in cash will be able to get a Fleetwood fan to part with their ticket for what for them is a dead rubber game.

*Fixed_It and the Admins of TWTD would not condone such behaviour, obviously.

**Fixed_It already has a legitimate ticket in the away end.

A lot of Fleetwood fans must be hoping to buy a house (or 2) up there by selling their tickets for that amount.

I was hoping to swap a bar of soap for a ticket in the home end

You should have offered Anglo Saxon King Raedwald’s helmet from Sutton Hoo in exchange for a ticket. They’d never have noticed it was a plastic Viking one of Blackpool seafront.

A little like MK last year who seemed to think Galatasaray were coming to town!

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.
Poll: Which recent triallist should we have signed?

Ipswich fans will not turn up without a ticket. Many other clubs yes, but not us.

IF it looks pivotal I think you might be wrong. I don't envisage a 'storming of the barricades', but people will travel just to be there.

At most 60/80… not the thousands fleetwood are worried about

Maybe if it was more local, Cambridge or something that would definitely be a risk. Can't see many travelling 300 miles on the off chance a local flogs you his season ticket card for a hundred quid.

That is a good point though - because it's last game of the season, they could literally just flog you the card in their wallet

Afraid to inform that the reputation of our away support is preceding us at the moment.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
Poll: With Evans taking 65% in Huddersfield, is the Banter Era over?
