How's things going with Celina? 12:13 - May 6 with 2730 views | The_Flashing_Smile | And would we want him back now? I thought it was a mistake not to bring him back but rather feel that ship has sailed. Not sure he fits the up-and-coming potential we're looking for these days.
| Trust the process. Trust Phil. |

How's things going with Celina? on 12:22 - May 6 with 2673 views | catch74 | I think Celina, like everyone else would have had a brilliant season and improved hugely under McKenna. He’s got all the technical ability but Broadhead shows how to put it into meaningful contributions on the pitch. As you say, ship has probably sailed but love him as a player.

How's things going with Celina? on 13:36 - May 6 with 2411 views | BigCommon | I wouldn't mind him here, as long as he's looked after his fitness over the last season.. Broadhead won't go an entire season in the Champ without any niggles. Cellina would be an ideal type, to rotate and help manage Broadhead, imo.. Cellina played with some utter dross up front and down our left, last season. As long as his workrate was up to scratch, I think he'd fit in nicely.. And he's Championship proven... Think his wages might be a stumbling block, for someone that would, largely, be playing second fiddle to Broadhead, though. As mentioned, that ship has probably sailed now. But I wouldn't be entirely shocked or disappointed if he did show up. However, I will be throughly ignoring any Cellina rumours this Summer. If it happens, it happens.
How's things going with Celina? on 13:36 - May 6 with 2406 views | wkj | I really do like Celina, but I have to question if he plays the way that McKenna wants int hat position. Was it not a battle between he and Chaplin for the squad sheet? If so - Chaplin is untouchable now. He's worked a lot on his first touch and as a result - he's been nout short of perfect this season.

That is a bit harsh on Celina if you ask me.

How's things going with Celina? on 17:39 - May 6 with 1870 views | franz_tyson | Still don't understand the love for this guy. He's been bouncing around clubs for the last 5 years like a mercenary. We were the one club who showed him a bit of love and offered him a home. I'm sure he could have taken a paycut to come here for a year to a club where the fanbase knew him and where he could have worked to improve himself under McK. No... apparently it was our mistake to not offer him more money. Even last year as our most expensive player he was still on the bench. He's often an unused sub at Stoke. His Turkey experience failed. Dijon are desperate to offload him. He was hardly a raging success at Swansea. Work it out. He's had his chance and he's the type to chase the easy money in somewhere like Saudi. Broadhead actually came here and visibly improved us and scored/ created assists as much as Celina in half the time. Hopefully, we'll keep clear. Sorry... don't get the love for him. Not sure it's so much love for Cellina the man. Just what he can do with a football... KM got a better tune out of him than Cook did, imo. And rarely benched him. In fact, KM played him slightly out of position in CM a couple of times, to cover injuries. When he could of played someone else in there , instead. Last year's poor quality strikers cost him at least half a dozen ,more, assists. And he had the pleasure of carrying the likes of Penney and co down our left side. And not the Luxury of Lief Davis along side him. He's easily up there with Broadhead for ability, imo. I see those two as very similar players, with Broady, obviously the scope to kick on to another level with age on his side. I'd love to know what actually happened last Summer, straight from the horse' mouth. Not actually knowing, leaves the door open for much speculation. All I remember of Cellina, was he played a big role in the few big moments we had last season. Pompey away, and Wycombe away. And scored one of the best goals seen at PR in decades, verses Crewe. A last kick winner at home to Fleetwood, and, often made some awful pitches look quite playable, with his first touch and silky skills. Don't recall him doing much media stuff, not sure if the scars down his face, put him off slightly, from courting the camera, perhaps?. As a result of his lack of media interviews, I've never really been able to build up much of a picture of him, personality wise. So really, just judged him on his footballing ability. Which I'm a massive fan of.... The boy does things, that others just aren't able to... I think , if he had come here last summer, and it became common knowledge that he'd taken a dip in wages. It could have really cemented him as a fans favorite, as long as he'd performed. Just my opp'... I was a bit gutted when he didn't come here. And that's why I refuse to get too attached to Hirst. He simply isn't ours yet. [Post edited 6 May 2023 20:14]
