This year was tough. And it’s going to be again, just think how Weds are going to feel if they have to try again against those teams. What an incredible achievement to get out and to get just so many points. Incredible performance and general consistency from the manager and players.
Yes today a damp squib, and Clarke red card an early blow. But the celebration was on the pitch and in the streets of Ipswich last weekend. That’s the memory not this weekend.

I'm seeing roughly the same number of contenders packed out with dross as this season.
Taking nothing away from our achievement. Just don't think those teams looks like a particularly difficult league. There will be 5-6 real contenders and the rest will be the usual bang average lot.
No offence to the lad, he seems a good sort, but I don’t need to hear from Knappers again. I see he even put out a “how Ipswich won promotion” vlog. I think we know, son, I think we know.
Its a tough division every season, to actually get promoted from... Looks fierce on paper for next season. All a bit hypothetical, though, until we see what happens in the window. And how many managers and key players get poached.

KMc was so frustrated at how teams raised their game against us(fair play) and were getting the rub of the green. This has been an outstanding effort to get promotion and certainly in my lifetime now I never ever want to see us in this god awful league again.
Next season I don’t envy any of the bigger teams, four years of false dawns, low blocks, crap pitches, crap referees, pizza cup, FA Cup 1st round and Alfie bloody May have taken there toll.
