Internet says he’s on £200k a week. A player whose career has been well and truly on the slide for years but he has made his dough. Yep, can really see him busting a gut on a cold midwinter evening for the first time in years.

As for fitting in with the rest of the team their combined weekly wage is probably less than his. I’m sure they wouldn’t mind.

Barkley though talented, is known for being bit of a wreck head, certainly was round the bars of Chelsea anyway.

Doesn't really fit the model of the club. We will buy players who if they fill their potential will have a big sell on value. If we don't go up this year, a PL club might come it for a player like Broadhead, and pay enough silly money to buy 3 more players. I understand the need for a Keogh or Aluko around the squad, but we will surely look to buy young with a decent resale value.
