Nine Subs On Bench in Championship on 19:21 - Jun 29 with 1281 views | SheffordBlue | Assuming the club knew this was likely to happen the Aluko deal makes a lot more sense. He's an excellent option to have on the bench to bring on in tight games where we're leading and can use his ability to hold onto the ball better than many of our forward options.

Nine Subs On Bench in Championship on 20:32 - Jun 29 with 1191 views | Meadowlark | This is becoming more and more ridiculous. With a settled team this means that nearly the whole of the reserve team will be on the bench and not getting any match time. Who is this supposed to benefit?

With no Reserve League the only other option is for one or two of them to play for the U21s. At least if you're in the matchday squad you might get some match minutes. This will increase the likelihood of players like Leigh and Aluko who were often absent from the matchday squad getting on and getting some minutes.

Benefits transport organisations, hoteliers, caterers, the tradesmen who’ll have to expand some dressing rooms. Fk all use to the players though.

Nine Subs On Bench in Championship on 23:08 - Jun 29 with 957 views | HighgateBlue | Plainly the answer is to allow one goalkeeping sub, and Neil Gregory. That should be the allowance. And no number 13. Bovril. That sort of thing. Or, rolling subs, rolling lines, ice hockey-esque, corn dogs. I guess the latter is more likely. Grab a tent and join 'em, I guess, as Terrorvision would have said.

So what would the bench look like?! And isn’t 9 a good thing! on 23:58 - Jun 29 with 893 views | unstableblue | We’ve got a long season and a big squad. Allowing 9 players to feel involved, and to give optionality for the 5 who can come on? What’s the issue. Parking that debate - with the squad we have now, who’s the 9: Starting: Walton Clarke Wolf burgess Leif Morsy Taylor Burns Chaplin Broadhead Ladapo Subs: 1. Hladky 2. Donacien 3. Leigh 4. Edmundson 5. Luongo 6. Evans 7. Edwards 8. Harness 9. Jackson
