No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

Summer 89' you couldn't move and not hear this somewhere! Every clothes shop, record shop, supermarket, lift, kids party, seemed to have this on. I'd seen her as backing singer to The jam 7 years earlier!

It's a wonderful track and I feel guilty now that I will only be seeing them live for the first time in a couple of weeks. I was very wrapped up in being a Dad at the time though. The States had a different number one at the time, Simply Red covering this:
