She is a single mother and has an interesting back story, not typical of most journalists. This from Wikipedia.

Yeah I think she's pretty left leaning and a weird one for the Telegraph to employ. She left the Guardian because of the trans stuff and an alleged fall-out with Owen Jones among others. They still have little Twitter tiffs from time to time. [Post edited 19 Jul 2023 10:28]
