Not going to lie, I had an iffy feeling going into tonight. Hull a bogey side for us, unbeaten in 8 and playing really well away from home. When I saw we were missing a couple from the usual first XI as well I was nervous. But what a performance that was from the boys tonight. Every single one of them was excellent, on and off the ball. Hull looked a decent side but we defended really well, Hladky only had a couple of saves to make and they were routine. He was superb playing the sweeper keeper role mind and his confidence on the ball was key to our second goal. We created an abundance of chances, their keeper made a few saves and they got some last ditch blocks in too. All three goals were class in different ways. Absolutely beautiful. PR under the lights on a night like tonight is something else.

Hladkys positioning and distribution improves us, I though Williams looked very impressive tonight best I’ve seen him by a distance, Leif and Chappers also on fire.

The only Muff in Town.

100%. Finding my neutral fan hat for a second, that was as impressive a performance by a Championship side as you could wish to see. We looked excellent going forwards against Blackburn, but it was tough to gauge how much the opposition contributed to it, given their kamikaze play. This was the complete performance and all while showcasing our squad depth. The right side looked particularly strong with Williams (who admittedly may have given away a penalty on another day) and Burns. Made up for Harness too; showed he's more than just a high energy substitute at this level.

Just WHO is going to stop this team of ours on our current form I’m struggling to think of one.

What a time to be a Town fan!

Great post Herbie

Like you I thought that was going to be a challenge tonight, a wake up call.

But everything clicked, fell into place.

Yeah wasn't expecting that at all. Thought it might be a bit of a ding dong again and hoped we'd come out on the right side but that was our most controlled performance of the season, arguably under McKenna full stop when you weight it for the level of opposition.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

I actually felt quite confident coming into this one. Thought KM would have had a good chat with the squad after Saturday. And with Morsy back in, and us at home, under the lights. I just had a good feeling about this one..
Didn't expect us to play that well though.. Clean sheet was massive imo. First time weve whacked a few in and not conceded this season... Quality goals tonight... Shout out to Fridge, not necessarily MOM, but was really solid considering he hasn't played much.
