We always knew he was a tvvat, but ffs - that this country has had an @rsehole like that in a position of power, it's an utter disgrace, and should actually sound the death knell for the stinking rump of the Conservative Party which put him there.

Hancock, Grayling, Williamson, Coffrey - almost as if competency isn't top of the considerations when appointing ministers.

Serious question for the politically educated amongst us: Can an MP be convicted of something like malfeasance in a public office, for misleading the government by 'repeatedly lying' to the cabinet on such life-threatening issues for the UK public?

MP specifically mentioned in there as considered as a public office (and not exempted in any way) so I guess the answer is 'yes'. And in my opinion he should be prosecuted, not as 'revenge' but to make it clear to all future MPs that they have a serious duty and responsibility which cannot be treated lightly.
