So naturally had a little joke on Twitter.
Turns out it could be a bit of a bigger award than it says…

It was awarded for our EUFA cup win and probably influenced by the demolition of St. Ettienne. I believe that it was the first time the winner had no connection with winning the European Cup. | | | |

Arsenal were jointly awarded it in 1971, despite not having won the European Cup, but having been English double winners 70/71, having also won the Fairs cup in 69/70. | |
