Just as well his family isn’t sitting on a load of priceless artifacts and treasures stolen from another country…oh wait…

I suspect India will be delighted to see this, and Modi will be over on Monday to pick up the Koh-I-Nor.

If he's taking the moral high ground on state plundered assets he needs to return basically everything in his possession and dominion.

Very myopic imo.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

His father was Greek and his paternal grandmother spent world war 2 in Greece working for the Red Cross and sheltering Jewish refugees, for which she is recognised as "Righteous Among the Nations" by Israel's Holocaust memorial institution, Yad Vashem.

Except he's not, he's wearing a tie based on his heritage. He wore the same tie 10 days ago and no-one batted an eyelid.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

I know his lineage. Wearing that tie in the height of a political spat is all the more short sighted if he actually didn't want it to be interpreted as him taking sides.

He will have had dozens of people telling him not to wear that tie on that day. He knew what he was implying.

Fwiw I believe the marbles should be returned.

He's right to take sides. I congratulate him on it. Regardless of the marbles, the way Sunak has behaved towards a friendly ally is disgusting and childish.

He may well be taking sides, or he may just be wearing his favourite tie. We can't say either way. As I say, he was wearing the tie 10 days ago - before the row - so it's not like he's procured one especially.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

I'm with you on this dollers. Very amusing to see people virtual signaling over the King's perceived virtue signaling.
