Think there is a lot to come from this young man its difficult for him to force his way into our side as things stand so maybe right for him to go back but i cant help feeling sorry for him as even as things stand at Spurs cant see him involved much TBH .

He’s done well when asked but needs regular football and another season in League One in my opinion before he’s ready. Rumours are he and Williams are both off but I have not read anything concrete about Williams yet. We obviously need squad space and some of the budget freed up to make changes so it’s to be expected really.

I feel a bit for Scarlett. He just had no luck here. 3 or 4 times this season up the north stand end he was so unlucky not to score. Sometimes it just doesn't work for you at certain clubs.

I think we found a formula that got us lots of points and he just didn't adapt enough to it.

We haven't got the time to wait for him. We need someone who can come in and be match ready.

We have lots of squad space if we can get our targets if not the likes of Donacian Ball Jackson Aluco and one or two others will stay put for a while longer .

It was highlighted on Blue Monday pod. His loan doesn’t look like it was managed properly by THFC. Released late in summer rather than having time to settle and adjust, came cup tied and missed our early cup games, wasn’t yet at the level to make significant impact in the league and now he can’t go anywhere else as he has played for us and his parent club.

I like the lad and hope he is better managed next season!

So Spurs want him as cover for the Asian Cup. Could he return to us on the last day of the window after being on the bench for them for the best part of January?

Theoretically. But would Town want him back if we've signed another striker?

Thinking squad size limit and chance of playing timr.

Definitely possible but agree with Guthers that we may be the ones who don't want to go down that road. It's a useful Plan B for us if we have space and/or haven't landed other targets but I'd imagine we'll hope to get our business done as early as possible.

I agree that we would hope to find someone else with more experience who is going to make more of a contribution, as I assume we did before signing him in the summer, but if not, not impossible he could return.

I can’t see him coming back here, the point of a loan is for him to play games and play regularly. From his point of view, it wouldn’t make sense coming back here and playing a bit part role from the sub’s bench. I doubt if Spurs would want that either.

No, I agree, very much an outsider, but more chance of him playing here than there once they've got their players back and can't go anywhere else.

True Phil, but if he does well with Son away at the Asian Cup he’d rather a bit part there, than here.

Yes, if he does get a chance and do well there, then he may be in with a shout of further involvement there. Not sure he's ready for it yet though. Evidently, KMc didn't think he was ready enough for more involvement at this level.

Whilst you are here Phil....

Do you think we'll see Ladapo move on in January? Its noticeable that he is getting ever less involvement from the bench.

I'd guess so, assuming we add to the squad in the way we hope. Might be others who move on having similarly not played much of a part, Dom Ball, for example.

Don't Prem loans count towards the squad regardless of age?

Have it from a very good Oxford source that he’s going to go there once we get our target through the door

Would be a good move for all parties that. He can still do an excellent job at the top end of League 1 but he's not quite what we need anymore unfortunately. He's had a great 18 months here so would leave with nothing but good wishes.

D'oh! Of course, I stand corrected. Was thinking of last year's rules. Apologies for doubting Guthers!

Absolutely… as everyone (part of the promotion squad) would get.
