Not only that, but have now stuck Forest in the bottom three on GD. Looking like a tasty game on Saturday indeed.

Plus potential point deductions for Forest and Everton.

They’re certainly not giving up without a fight. The recent 3-1 loss to Sheffield Utd will be one that hurts them. It’s very well holding better teams to a draw, but they needed a result there.

Must be a long time since a premier league came back from losing 3-0 to winning 4-3

Seem to recall us losing to Oxford from 3-0 up in a season we got relegated from the top flight. Dean Saunders or John Aldridge scored a hat trick within 15 minutes I seem to recall.

EDIT: 1985 John Aldridge but can't see the goal times currently.

This was the match but still no times. Hat trick in ten minutes to level according to the commentary before they got the winner 10 minutes from the end. Relegated by 1 point behind Oxford.

In their last games, Sheff Utd and Burnley were 2 up and Luton 3 up and not one of them managed to win.
Three very poor and flaky teams going down, unless Everton and Forest get a proper points hammering for their finances.

Poll: September 2025. Which one?

That was a bad 7 days. The week before, we led Everton 2-0 at PR and lost 3-4.

Think that was the debut for Jon Hallworth too.

Thanks.

It doesn't make it feel any better.

I recall being a teen and listening to it on the radio. It was a haunting experience.

In all fairness, they've put up a much harder fight than Norwich have in their last 3 relegation dogfights, coming from a far weaker starting point.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.
