Sorry, but I’m just not worried about Chelsea, just can’t see that one happening. Brighton is the only team that concerns me.

Still have faith in McKenna to stay though, reckon all will be fine. Like Ashton said, until it comes from the club…

I think KM is too smart to join that circus. Then again, for 5million a year, who wouldn’t be tempted? Omari probably texting him right now.

not being funny but all I've read is speculation. When you look through it, there's no hard facts, it's just regurgitated info that you are probably already aware of.
How you interpret it is up to you.
If this was a red top journalist it would be dismissed but fans give it more credibility because it's the Guardian.
Very good, young manager linked with decent clubs with vacancies. It's not exactly a shock.
Whether it happens, we'll see.
I would have thought McKenna would be torn about Brighton and would say yes to Chelsea. But I don't think Chelsea will go for McKenna unless they're willing to admit they got it wrong sacking Potter so early.
But the Prem is so bonkers when it comes to managers, anything could happen.

Think poor old Kieran may be used as a makeweight for clubs to get who they actually want as well.

Most Chelsea fans know Sweet Fanny Adams about anything to do with football. They didn't even know football existed until about 20 years ago.

(Think he’s a West Ham fan) He seems to post about us every hour. If only there was a Guardian colleague of his who posts on here and who could have a word.

Chelsea is a free hit though. If he succeeds, then great, if he doesn't then everyone knows it's Chelsea and not him.

2 years there. Couple of million in the bank. Get them up to a stunning 5th or 6th, or maybe scrape a Champions League spot, and then onto United.

Easiest job going innit. Have a few ready to go templates along the lines of ‘understand XXX are interested in XXX’ and just change the names. Rinse and repeat. It awful ‘journalism’ and suggests no insight at all. I’d much rather wait for an official announcement.
