I imagine it’s because every single EFL game that weekend is broadcast.
So they can’t have any 3pm kick offs. I had previous heard the rule would be relaxed because there’s no premier league games on that weekend but I guess not.

Yeah it is because of that.

Think the rule has been relaxed for League 2 as they’re all being shown on that new SkySports+

12:30 kick off.

**Edit - There are no 3pm kick offs except in L2. I assume they've been done away with to account for live Sky Coverage on a Saturday.

Could be interesting on the trains to the North East on April 26th. We're away to Newcastle and scum are at Middlesborough.

I'm surprised there isn't more anger about this. Cardiff vs Sunderland is a 12:30 k/o. A quick look says it's over a 6 hour train and 3 changes to go from Sunderland to Cardiff and you probably need to give yourself an hour grace in case of delays, and time to get to the stadium. So hundreds/thousands of fans attempting to get the only train around 5-5:30am?

Train platforms can be dangerous places. In the spirit of friendship, I hope our fans warn theirs to mind the gap.

Saw an interesting fixture event earlier

Millwall v Portsmouth
Spurs v Southampton

Sat 5th April.

I'm guessing they might need to move one of those.

Interesting. The 3pm rule only applies when there are premier league games, because the assumption is that fans would watch the Premier league game on TV rather than go to the local game.

As there are no Premier league games that day I was under the impression that 3pm kick offs were allowed.

So, either I'm wrong or sky hate the fans more than I thought. Either is possible!

Sky don’t hate fans. They simply don’t care about them and probably don’t realise we exist. They’re only interested in their consumers.
