A rare glimpse of him being an adult rather than a spoilt brat. Still gets no love from me though, albeit I’m sure it’s a very difficult day from a human perspective.

Decent speech from Sunak, that on 10:59 - Jul 5 with 1469 views | baxterbasics | I find it hard to find much to blame Sunak for how things went, just find him uninspiring and he had no answer for the slide in the polls that had been going on since the latter days of Boris. Lots of factors contributed. Had there been no Farage influence, the margin of defeat would have been significantly smaller.

He was hung out to dry because of three factors - one completely out of his control in Truss, one slightly out of his control but where he could have done more to stand up against in Johnson (though he wouldn't have become PM if he'd done that) and one completely in his control in policy and decision making whilst he himself in office.

Decent speech from Sunak, that on 11:23 - Jul 5 with 1194 views | Swansea_Blue | Nah, too late saying sorry and saying he’s listening now, when he’s been carrying on Johnson’s legacy for nearly 2 years. No good talking about his family’s support and the opportunity this country gave his parents/grandparents after he’s banned overseas students from bringing their partner and splits up families involving one non-Brit who can’t meet his draconian immigration laws. In the bin with him.

That's the first time I've seen the real Sunak since he announced the Furlough scheme. He was a weak Prime Minister who had a golden opportunity to disown Johnson and Truss and tear up the Rwanda policy. He may well have still lost but not to the extent that he did and history would be kinder to him.
