....if the kit clash meant that you couldn't wear either kit, you'd go to the back of a cupboard in the shop and just find 11 old shirts that were the same and wear them.

I understand every club can request to wear a non first team kit once a season if the referee agrees. I think clubs have used this before for this reason, to give a particular shirt an outing to boost sales. |  | | |
