Entry problems into the ground 20:06 - Aug 10 with 3150 viewsvictorywilhappen

so slow. really need to get this sorted out. Long lines with very slow turnstile operators. 15 mins to get in.
The staff seem to need a good training session or 4.

It’s because all the tickets are paper/on phones (majority probably on phones) next week there’s 22,000 with season ticket cards, speeds it up a bit but some of the turnstile operators are a bit slow yes.

It was the Cobbold. first time there for many years.

The poor old boy seemed well out of his depth on the turnstile (I entered) which only opened (5 mins before kick-off) when the lines were so long that kick-off would get missed by those in the long existing formed lines.

That was a small crowd today so we need to get it sorted out. Not hope it will be OK.

Guy on the turnstile said the main issue was people had printed their tickets out at a poor quality or had them rammed in their pockets which crumpled them and the scanner couldn't get a clean read on the QR code. People getting to the front of the queue and only then faffing around trying to get the ticket up on their phone also a needless issue.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Yep, all part of the problem, the club even messed up the proper tickets for the Fortuna game - printed the QR code over the dark blue bit on the ticket.

The amount of people who don’t have their tickets ready is funny, and annoying.

Cobbold always bad, just not enough turnstiles really, I was in there today but lower, the queues for the upper were snaking round the road.

Would be quicker if they just let people scan their own tickets!

Is always quicker in every stand for a league game though.

....really badly printed.

There's no way it's gonna scan on Saturday.

I'm already thinking about the argument I'm gonna have.

Yes I think they all are!

I saw someone on twitter saying they had contacted the club about it but the club reassured them and said it will be fine, we’ll see!

It’s 53 years old

I’m sure it’ll be fine next week, just as it was last season (assuming the Cobbold/Portman/Chicken Run was ok).

Same kind of people who don’t bother to get there purse/wallet out at the supermarket until the cashier tells them the cost. Drives me mad!

The phone tickets have always been problematic going back to Burnley in the Cup for me! ‘It’s not bright enough’ I was told, then it worked, then I was told it was already in use! ‘Yes, because you just scanned it!’ Sent to ticket office, who confirmed it was being used, yet I was stood in the office! They printed me out a ticket!

The worst one ever for me was on the way back from Europe on the train with Bossbeard. Everything was fine until UK. I think the queue was for railway tickets before the app days and the assorted idiots were only getting their wallets and purses out once they had got to the machine - and then continued to press every wrong button available.
