Would imagine at the very least they’ll now do a health and safety status assessment of all of the projects, which will cause a bit of a delay but like you say things shouldn’t grind to a halt at all. | | | |

There are categories of near misses classed 'dangerous occurrences' that must be reported to RIDDOR, but not every near miss must be legally reported
I've just recently done my H&E refresher for construction sites. I'm glad I retained something, as it was REALLY boring to complete!
Just did a quick check and failure or collapse of lifting equipment is classed as a dangerous occurrence, so I'm sure there will be a thorough report and investigation. [Post edited 12 Aug 2024 13:48]
