Travel advice for Wimbledon 11:57 - Aug 28 with 845 viewssmithy69

Travelling from Bristol to Wimbledon via car and can’t figure out what to do. Drive to the outskirts and train it in , but that looks like a pain and long, or drive in completely and then walk.

Any one doing similar

Check out where trains from London to Wimbledon carry onto. Then pick a station near the M25 and get a train towards London and get off at Wimbledon.

From memory Woking or Guildford would work.

I'm doing Woking, outside the ULEZ, 30 mins

I'm coming from Suffolk, will drive as far as Brentwood and get Elizabeth/Northern line.

A long trip each way, but I thin marginally less pain than driving the whole way at peak time with no parking within 30mins of the stadium (that I can find anyhoo).

As it stands driving from work and parking just outside CPZ around ground.

But hoping daughter gets her car back today, then I can leave mine at work and take train in...

As stated elsewhere, find a station West of Earlsfield or Haydon Road and use train for last part of journey
