Claims it was a scrappy encounter, and also references substitute Omari Hutchinsons late effort - where do they get these writers from...

They've got to prepare for the Match of the Day edit, which won't reflect what happened - even when another of their sources says differently. The BBC live text called it an entertaining game.

It really wasn’t. Clearly written by somebody who wanted to be at Arsenal or West Ham.

It was a good game with an interesting ebb and flow to it.

The Guardian report was a much fairer reflection, with credit where it was due, and also some realistic home truths (for example defence being the weaker part of Davis' game).

I noticed that too, really odd description of the game, and a lot of the comments underneath also questioning that description.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Decent report let down by a lack of understanding of where our (or Man City's) funding comes from.

The telegraph butchered a McKenna quote saying it was the first Premier League goal at Portman road for 22 years, but saying that it was the first Premier League goal for Ipswich in 22 years.
It is painfully obvious how biased the press is against the "lesser" clubs.
It was a thoroughly entertaining clash which Ipswich dominated and Fulham always looked dangerous on the break.
Add the bias of the referees against the "lesser" clubs and we have a mountain to climb.
