Does anyone know the ins/outs of twitter? 13:11 - Oct 8 with 1788 views | bluelagos | So a few weeks back, after Marcus Harness posted that he was off to Derby, a nice tweet thanking Ipswich etc. I replied a brief tweet wishing him all the best. The past few weeks i've been getting notifications from people "liking" that tweet and/or following me. When you look, they are all dodgy as fck, some have like 2 or 3 followers, others are young girls like "only fans" accounts in their profiles. This has been going on for weeks - happened again today and yesterdaY - and always that reply of mine that drove the interest in my profile etc. Now maybe these 18 year old girls are genuinely interested in me (charm and good looks) but suspect not. Any thoughts?

Does anyone know the ins/outs of twitter? on 13:18 - Oct 8 with 1703 views | Illinoisblue | It’s a sewer with an occasional moment where the turds aren’t everywhere. A recent trend I’ve noticed is a newspaper or website will tweet out a story and then instantly Indian bots/weirdos will copy and paste the first paragraph of the story in response. Fk knows why. But there’s a small army of these fkers doing it; the first ten or twenty replies will all be this nonsense.

When I first arrived in Lagos, a colleague took me aside before we went out for our first beer. "Lagos, trust me, you will get lots of attention from young, beautiful local women. Now it maybe that you have suddenly become the hottest thing on earth, or just maybe because as an expat in a country of unbelievable poverty you offer a way out / meal ticket for life." 6 months later I explained the same to a new visitor. Only I secretly told some of the young ladies that he was newly arrived (Fresh fish - ripe for catching) - and after 15 minutes looked over and he was pinned against a wall with half a dozen women fighting for his affections. You'll be amazed how many middle aged, balding overweight men genuinely thought they were gods gift...

Have said before, but what I love about the classic 419 (I have some money I want to move out the country and need someone to help me) - is that you are committing to helping someone money launder. After you get stung - to report it - you basically have to go to the police and explain that you tried to help someone illegally money launder and got your fingers burned. Hence why most 419 scams are never even reported. Appreciate other forms and scams are more vile, but the simple one that plays on your greed and lack of morals is in some ways quite funny.

My old mate,I was best man at his wedding back in the early 2000's married an Ibo princess but I only got involved in the UK one,I was excused from the Nigerian part of the event....Still not sure if I was happy or not about that.....so many pluses and so many minuses have gone through my mind over the years. You'll be amazed how many middle aged, balding overweight men genuinely thought they were gods gift... Re.the above I was in India around the time Pakistan and they were looking at MAD around 2002 spring/summer ... The British FO had advised us all to leave and in fact were doing the free flights out with British airways thing ,I somehow got to Calcutta after deciding against returning to the UK and decided to go to Bangkok to sit it out....it was a culture shock....after not seeing many westerners for the previous six months and the majority seemed to be exactly as you described. Does anyone know the ins/outs of twitter? on 15:51 - Oct 8 with 1240 views | Ryorry | I’ve been plagued for 2-3 years by accounts with scantily clad young females as avatars, a string of numbers in their usernames, and 0 tweets despite having joined months ago, following me despite a pinned tweet saying I’m a straight female in my 70s. Always blocked them, but what was strange was someone else saying she had same, but they all stopped after the UK General Election in July - which indeed mine did too! I’m guessing Russian bots looking for entrapment 😂

But you wouldn't would you - cos as soon as some 18 year old fit as fck girl shows an interest you know exactly what she's after - assuming you have any self awareness. Goes both ways too - Gambia is notorious for elderly western women picking up young toy boys - in what is sex tourism exactly the same as Thailand. The more gullible ones fall in love, and can cost them a lot more than a few "presents".

That's one I've noticed a lot recently, especially on Ipswich stories since we've got to the Premier league.
