He’s had a difficult start this season but he was very good yesterday

Yes, looked a real player, if he can keep this up we've got exactly what we needed.

Yep. Looked class yesterday.
Very assured performance.

Yes big credit to him yesterday. He looked like the player we bought. A bit unlucky also with his shot just before half time. Makes me wonder how long he has been injured. He really nullified mavididi or however his name is spelt, who was great in this match last year.

I was one of the few on TWTD to stand up for him after the West Ham game when I thought he was unfairly scapegoated.

The good thing about yesterday is that as well as defending well, he offered a lot when it came to attacking, as he did in the Man City game.

Testament to KMs vision and training methods...Johnson is now showing his potential, Muric will be worked on and Jack Clarke will be developed over time....our squad has a low age average now and we are looking, not just at now, but long term infrastructure...

Johnson is only 24, and has 69 Premier League appearances to his name, something I think plays a big part too, given our lack of such experience.

Yup, excellent yesterday. Thought it was O’Shea’s best game for us as well, terrific at the back there.

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…

Ironically enough, I was thinking this morning what a shame it potentially is for Harry Clarke (again). Was conscious of the local boy getting to play in PL narrative disappearing with his injuries and Tuanzebe/Johnson ahead of him, only to see fitness and form suddenly propel him into the first team.
Only to then get sent off, see someone else come in and do really well and likely be back to third choice in a few weeks time without getting to play again!

It is what it is, but we just need more time and maybe more time than is going to be available.
We are seeing players improving week on week, the team becoming more coherent and just need players fit to help with that too.
Johnson and O'Shea both had their best games in a Town shirt, Muric will have got a decent amount of confidence, Morsy was the best player on the pitch in the first half, Phillips is becoming more and more dominant for us, even Davis has looked much improved defensively over the last month.
It will just take time, but we may run out of it.

Much better yesterday, as was O Shea. Phillips was outstanding too - big shame he’s missing next week as him and Morsy looked formidable for large parts of the game

I think he’s looked bang ordinary from the pre season game against Fortuna right up to yesterday. Yesterday he was excellent. He looked a proper player. Quick too. I’m pleased for him and us!

Another shout out to Chaplin. I never thought he’d be capable of playing at that level, but he was a pain in the rear to the opposition yesterday. I know his shooting can be a bit wayward, but I don’t mind players having a go. He appeared to enjoy it too.

OP. Agree totally with you. He caught my eye as well. I also thought O'Shay and Davis looked good too. Burgess appeared to struggle at times.

Tbh the whole looked up for it yesterday. I'd like to say it we continue this, points will come our way. But Im now convinced match officials and VAR have an agenda against us for some reason.

Poll: Would this current Town team beat the current narwich team
