My moans about the run in to Christmas are well recorded, but I do genuinely see today as a turning point. I know it still gets cold, but I'm fine with a bit of chill, its the dark and grey that gets me.
The gradual stretching out of daylight hours from here, buds forming on the trees, bulbs popping their heads up - all those little signs of Spring round the corner bring a little bit of joy to my world.
