Strictly speaking dear old Marcus got it right; that management team, in the product of all the actions it undertook, either wittingly or just possibly unwittingly, has launched us on the ride which brought us back to where we want and expect to be. |  |

Evans giving Lambert a 4 year contract extension was one of the most befuddling things even Evans ever did. Unsurprisingly, Lambert hasn't worked again so I'm sure either we've been honouring his contract or greed a deal with him. He then compounded his error by replacing Lambert with the equally clueless Cook, just before he sold the club. |  |
