BUT, as we’ve learnt from the Axel injury and Delap suspension. The squad players who provide back-up to our preferred 11, need to be fit and of a good standard.

I’ve worried that Townsend would be too much of a downgrade on Davis. Don’t feel like that after today.

I can’t remember where he came from! Recently thought that Davis was underperforming so could CT get more games?
