I understand the debate about the urgent need for a new keeper, right-sided player, midfielder and striker, but IMO we've signed too many players already.
Even if Ashton can magic up a player in the next 24 hours, I would prefer us to wait until the summer to address our issues, as I doubt even prime Messi could save us now.
We'll have a better idea about the budget available, once we know how much Delap can be sold for. We may also have a new manager next season who will have his own ideas.

That they’re about 3 yrs ahead of their plan and delighted with the progress. We have an incredibly strong management team in place on and off the field with lots of stability which is key.
We were always going to struggle to stay up given our rise and squad depth, if the worse does happen we are well and truly set to go and have a super strong season next season. |  | | |

I think all are resigned to us going back down and the owners/investors are not going to throw good money after bad ..I think they may see a different manager with different ideas and bringing in more robust players if we go down, which is looking likely I see a new manager coming in regardless..and im quite happy with it..as I jst feel mckenna may be blinkered somewhat in the type of players he wants in and to work with..much to the detriment of the club.. | | | |

Why sign a new keeper when we have Slicker available? He has to play next week and be given a chance. After all he's played many times for Scotland youth teams and had a lot of clean sheets. He certainly won't be any worse than Muric, who was responsible for both goals conceded on saturday. | | | |

Limited information unfortunately - forgot about the window closing. Have heard there is a medical, wont reveal source but this source was correct on Walton last week which incidentally was also a medical thing. Not claiming to be ITK (disclaimer) as i am not at all ITK. Just something i have heard [Post edited 2 Feb 21:33]
